Today I went to Wharton Web Conference 2015.

We started with a nice keynote by Jesse James Garrett.

My first workshop was “Node.js 201: Building Real Web and CMS Applications in Pure JavaScript” by Tom Boutell, from local web firm P’unk Avenue. I’ve been itching to get better acquainted with Node, so this was exciting.

Ny next workshop was “ReactJS and Flux: One-Way Data Flow” by Frank Wiles. I enjoyed learning more about ReactJS; I knew very little about it before this.

My final workshop was “Minimum Viable Security” by Jacob Kaplan Moss. The slides can be found on Speaker Deck. Really useful stuff!

In every part of the day, I was exposed to something new. I learned a lot, and I look forward to the next conference. :+1:
